Hey, Hi, HELLO! I’m Stacy, and I am so glad you stopped by!

I am a twenty-something year old living in Chicago, and I’m a wellness enthusiast (if you will). From 9-5, I work in advertising technology, but from 5-9 you can find me teaching cycling classes at SALT Fitness, working towards my Masters in Health and Wellness Management, taking photos on my Canon, cooking, traveling, attending speaker events/workshops around the city or spending time with my incredible friends and family. I have a wide variety of interests, but at the core of everything I do, and everything I am, is wellness.

Physical wellness has always been part of my life. I grew up playing sports and dancing, and I’ve always eaten relatively healthy. However, it wasn’t until a couple years ago when I realized that to be WELL meant much more than just exercise and nutrition. It’s also about positive thoughts, meaningful relationships, and environments that allow you to grow. Living a life motivated by wellness is simply just about making choices that keep you feeling good both physically and mentally.

It’s definitely a lifestyle, and I am hooked! I listen to podcasts. I read all the journals/books/magazines. I seek out events. I try new things. And one day after adding another title to my hypothetical list of articles to write, I decided to start The Wellnessentials!

Wellness has had such a positive effect on my life that I wanted to create a space where I could share my thoughts and experiences with all of you. I would love to someday build up a community through this platform, and I hope to inspire others and make many meaningful connections along the way!
